Chetham’s Library and Lock 91 Wedding

How sad are we all feeling that the glorious bank holiday weekend is over? I know I am but hopefully this beaut of a blog will cheer you up… here’s a stunning Chetham’s Library and Lock 91 wedding I had the pleasure of photographing for the lovely Charlotte and Andrew a few weeks back.

I’d never photographed a wedding at Chetham’s strangely until a couple of weeks before this day and so it was fab to go back so soon after Dominic and Mikey’s fabulous day (check out what they got up to here).

Wedding day and style

Charlotte and Andrew wanted a relaxed, fun and urban vibe and both of the venues achieved this to the max. Catherine and the team at Chetham’s were fantastic as always and made sure the ceremony and drinks reception was perfect.

Charlotte looked amazing in her Phase Eight dress and stunning Rachel Simpson shoes, whilst Andrew looked dapper in his Hugo Boss suit.

The sun was blazing and so everyone could enjoy drinks outside and catch a few Manchester rays before chucking a load of confetti on them and heading off to Lock 91 on the wedding bus for the rest of the celebrations.

Charlotte and Andrew on the other hand chose an awesome yellow convertible Mustang to travel in. Check out how cool AF it was in the blog post… want one!

Lock 91

Lock 91 is a cool and unique venue for a reception. Check out a previous wedding I shot there.

Andi and the team were all brilliant and couldn’t do enough for everyone. All of the guests enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace with the canal as their backdrop as they soaked in the atmosphere. Food was served in the Attic and was followed by speeches and one of the funniest songs/poems I’ve ever heard – well done Andrew’s mum for having everyone in stitches… “Ohhhh there’s only one Charlotte Mullins…” The bit about Charlotte’s pussy broke me!

The night went well into the night with The Young Ones keeping everyone dancing the night away!
