IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT LOCK 91 OR AT A COOL CITY CENTRE VENUE IN MANCHESTER, YOU’LL LOVE ROSE AND ADAM’S WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!
Rose and Adam celebrated their day at Lock 91, a unique bar in Manchester in a cool urban setting along the Manchester canal. It was such a fun wedding to be part of and it was made extra special because of having to postpone from the previous year.
The ceremony was held at Elliot House (above Gusto on Deansgate) which is a great alternative to Manchester’s registry office at Heron House, check it out if you don’t know about it! After their gorgeous and personal vows, they walked out to confetti and cheers before gathering outside for ALL of the hugs! I love this part of the day so much when the excitement of seeing your loved ones culminates in the biggest of hugs. Oh how we’ve missed them!
A bag of tinnies were handed out and everyone wandered down Deansgate in the glorious sunshine as cars beeped their horns and people cheered and congratulated them. Having a wander on your wedding day is definitely one of my absolute fave things to do as it allows me to create unique photos with a bit of street photography magic!
Rose wore a super cute Halston Heritage fringed short dress which was the perfect look for this cool Manchester city centre wedding. Adam wore a stylish and classic suit from Reiss and rocked his catalogue pose whenever needed ha!
Rose and I share a love of pink and I loved that she went pink with her hair and nails – adore!
Having shot a few weddings at Lock 91 now, I do love going back. It’s got a really laid back vibe to it and there are loads of options as to what you can do with the spaces available. The terrace was a great place to hang out on this beautiful August day, with the canal just below and with the awesome Daniel Clark entertaining everyone. For dinner a load of pizzas were delivered all served with fries – hell yeah to that! Also, check out the fab wedding favour badges that the talented Sam Turley created from one of my photos from their adventure session last year… they’re so cool!
“If Carlsberg did wedding photographers…. A photographer, a hype-woman, a wicked laugh, a confetti aficionado, a reassuring nod, sometimes invisible and sometimes luminescent. The essential wedding guest.”

Hi, I really like your photography and me and my partner are getting married in May, i wondered what your pricing was like and your availability?
We were recommended your work and think you’ve captured the weddings on your website really well, lots of variety and they feel really natural and fun!
We are getting married in London on 7th of May this year.
