Wedding photographer in Umbria at Agriturismo I Frati

When Janine and Nick chose me to be their wedding photographer in Umbria at Agriturismo I Frati in Paciano last year, I was delighted to head over to a new part of Italy to give them beautiful photography of their big day at this breathtaking venue and location in the Italian countryside!

About Agriturismo I Frati in Paciano

This place is absolutely picture perfect. Previously a monastery, it’s situated in a fantastic position to visit some of the most beautiful towns in Tuscany and Umbria, and is a short walk from Paciano and Panicale. Both are charming medieval villages surrounded by lush vegetation. Located on the slopes of Mount Petrarvella, they offer stunning views over Lake Trasimeno.

Castiglione Del Lago (Castle on the Lake) situated on Lake Trasimeno is a short boat ride away and it takes you to a wonderful island called Isola Maggiore.

About their day

Janine and Nick’s day was stylish, elegant, colourful and insanely good fun! Both looked amazing in their finery but particularly Janine who wore a stunning dress with pockets. We all know I’m a fan of dresses with pockets 🙂 Then there was the food… omg the food! Well it is Italy and my goodness it did not disappoint, it was incredible.

The portraits were beautiful. We spent some time wandering around the grounds of I Frati taking a walk along the olive groves and later on we headed over to Paciano for sunset which was beautiful.

These guys partied well into the night and there were some insane moves, make sure you scroll down to check some of them out! There was the Dirty Dancing lift, Nick rapping to Ice Ice Baby whilst being carried around on a chair, limbo, the crab and plenty of shots to help it all flow! Definitely my kind of wedding.

If you’re thinking of planning a destination wedding in Italy or anywhere else and you fancy taking me along to capture it all, I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and say hello.
