Tower Hill Barns Wedding Photography

I know it’s summer (although you can hardly tell at the moment) but winter weddings are only around the corner! I’m delighted to share photography from this stunning Tower Hill Barns wedding last year of my lovely friends Vicky and Neil. I tell you what these two definitely know how to throw a blinking great knees up. No surprise really given Vicky used to work in the wedding industry herself. It was absolutely immense and I was surrounded by a mega wedding team of suppliers too.

Vicky wore an absolute stunning Jesus Piero dress from Lovebird Bridal Boutique and I’m sure you’ll agree she looked amazing in it. Plus these dresses have pockets in them and I’m totally obsessed with wedding dresses with pockets! Danielle of Danielle Horan hair and makeup did a fabulous job on Vicky’s look. Neil looked great in his super stylish Richard Smith Bespoke suit too.

The amazingly talented Matt from Red Floral did a jaw dropping job dressing the barn and doing the most gorgeous bouquets for the girls!

Rachel from Marie Antoinette Cakes created the most magnificent cake, it looked incredible and tasted delish too!

Stacey of Love Lights the Way supplied the very pretty light up signs and that fabulous rose gold heart too.

Everything looked amazing but more than that, these two are absolutely made for each other and I was honoured to be part of their day. It was all that blinking good that I stayed right until the very end (dancing in the hotel lobby no less) dancing with everyone during the epic silent disco rave!

If you’re planning a winter wedding and you’re keen to chat some more about your wedding photography then I’d love to hear from you. Come and say hello here.

Here’s what Vicky and Neil had to say about their Tower Hill Barns winter wedding:

How they met…  Tinder!! We exchanged a few messages and then I forgot I was messaging him, a coupe of days later we got back in touch and then agreed to meet, 45 minutes after meeting, we knew it was Love. The rest is history!

The proposal… After a very lovely but filling meal, I couldn’t wait to get my dress off, I asked him to unzip me, as I turned around after being unzipped and able to breathe once again, turned to see Neil at the bottom of the Bed on one knee with a box….! The rest of what he said is a blur but he was asking me to be his wife…!!

Why they chose to do things they did… As I have been in the wedding industry for a number of years, attending and hearing about lots and lots of ideas from Brides and Mother of the Brides, I had heard LOTS of ideas but it was really important to me to utilise my knowledge of industry friends and use only in my opinion, the very best suppliers. In doing so and knowing there would be a lot of interest due to my time in the industry, I wanted to create a beautiful setting showing off my love for all things beautiful yet stylish, rather than themed and in being themed creating a look which then couldn’t be pin pointed to a time of decade.

Favorite parts of the day… Marrying my soul mate, exchanging our vows and quite possibly trekking around a field and having a kiss given to me from a random rambler and his wife to wish us well stand out as two pretty amazing memories but also (Because I can’t just pick one thing!!) would be the silent Disco we had after the band with a friend who was an amazing old school house DJ who played the best ever line up of tracks meaning everyone just had a total ball.

Supplier love… Every supplier we used was the best in the Industry! We have so much love for each and every one of the suppliers as I have worked previously with them on various shoots, met them at fairs or simply were friends before planning the wedding. But insider know how apart, every single person involved in the set-up of our wedding are nothing but professional.

What Vicky wore…  Jesus Peiro Bridal gown stocked and purchased from the lovely Laura at Lovebird Bridal Boutique. After seeing many a beautiful gowns and being honestly spoilt for choice, I thought it would be such a hard decision for me to choose my wedding gown, In the end I was swept away with a box pleat, halter neck, beautiful woven silk A line gown, one which complimented my shape and I knew would make me have a very timeless and elegant look.

What Neil wore –  Neil had a tailor made suit from the very fantastic tailor Richard Smith, based in Manchester City Centre.

Words of wisdom… Just be true to yourselves, do what makes you two happy and enjoy every moment, don’t be ashamed of shedding a few tears, we, as well as most of our guests shed a ton of tears but we look back on our day with so much happiness.

Their first dance was… Rise By Andrea Day

Me summed up in 3 words…! Amazing, Candid, Friend.

Finally here’s a lovely testimonial from Vicky and Neil which I was blown away by! Thank you so much, I loved every second of it!

As I had been following Ayesha on her travels and knew of her through a personal friend who is also a photographer, just seeing her style and following her journey, made me realise Ayesha would capture our day perfectly within the style I loved. Candid, natural and those snippets of a moment lost only to memory if it not had been for Ayesha’s ninja like reactions to spotting them.

Both Neil and I loved How Ayesha fitted in to our wedding and was instantly treated like a friend, She laughed and danced along with us making everyone feel so at ease. I would absolutely recommend Ayesha to be your wedding photographer in a heartbeat.
