What is Personal Branding Photography?

Well it is much more than just headshots! We’ve all seen and probably had one of those super stiff headshots that we’ve then posted on LinkedIn as our profile image as that’s what we think we should have. But those days are in the past. Personal Branding photography is so much more relaxed, relatable and filled with personality than a “looking straight at the camera” headshot. I will work with you to understand your brands vision, values and goals and together we will create a set of beautiful portraits and lifestyle images for your business.

Why have personal branding photos

People buy from people and we all love to see the personalities of the businesses we are buying from and so real, raw and joyful imagery really does come into it’s own. Take Instagram for example… we all love a nosey sorry I meant an insight into the “real person” and not the business. On my own Instagram feed, I without doubt get the most amount of engagement on a grid image when I post something of me personally or my life even if the subject topic is not related to the photograph at all. Interesting right?!

Wait, what? No headshots but then what do we do instead?

Yes that’s right, no traditional headshots. Personal Branding Photography comes into its own right here… it showcases you, your team and your amazing business through relaxed, candid and even playful photography. This can be of you as the boss in your place of work, in your favourite city like Manchester, drinking coffee, catching up with emails on your laptop, making phone calls, engaging with customers/colleagues or even a more personal insight with images of you with your family.

Where to use your new images

Once you’ve had your session with me, you could have enough social media content for months… how nice would that be?! You can use them on Instagram both on your grid and on Stories, your Facebook business page, LinkedIn and of course your website as well as for any marketing materials you may want to have printed.

How it all works:

Get in touch for an initial consult / Come and drop me an email at [email protected] or give me a call on 07786388079 and tell me about you and your business.

Book your date /  To secure a date, I will send you a booking form along with Terms and Conditions (this covers image usage) and an invoice covering 50% of the total balance to secure the booking. The final balance is due 14 days before your session. If the shoot is less than 14 days away, the full balance is due. This is paid via bank transfer.

Pre-shoot consultation / About 7-14 days before the shoot, we will have another chat about the session, agree your vision and goals for the shoot and agree a time and place to meet up.

Shoot Day! / Your session will generally go ahead regardless of the weather as we’ll have a wet weather plan in place too. However if your shoot falls within Covid restrictions meaning we are unable to go ahead and meet indoors then I am happy to reschedule your shoot.

Getting and using your images / You will receive your images within 4 weeks of your session. They will be presented to you in an online digital gallery where you can view and download all of your images as high res and web res files. You are then free to use the images as per the Terms and Conditions of the booking.

Costs and inclusions:

Up to a 2 hour session – £600

You will be provided with the full set of edited images with no upper limit

Images available to download in hi-res and web-res files

Standard Image Use License for promotional purposes

Access to the online gallery for 6 months

Additional hours – £200 per hour
