Hahei New Zealand Travel Photography

Last week I jumped into my Rav 4 (my holiday wheels) and drove the 3 hours or so over to Coramandel to a little place of heaven called Hahei. It was such a beautiful drive which made me think that what lay ahead was going to be pretty awesome. And it didn’t disappoint! I can’t wait to come back here next month to shoot a very lovely wedding!

This was my first time camping… ever! And do you know what I actually enjoyed it, even though it rained. I must admit camping right next to the beach is pretty special. Nothing nicer than listening to the sounds of the ocean crashing against the shore as you go to sleep. If only I could listen to that every night before I go to sleep.

Here’s a little bit of what I got up to in 5 days which included a fair bit of wine, giggling after hours, beach camp fires, lying under the stars and putting the worlds to rights, lazy beach days, lots of bbq’s, rainy reading days, hot water beach, cathedral cove, boats, ice creams, friends and loads of fun.
