Gorton Monastery Wedding Photographer
I’m going through the archives at the moment preparing lovely weddings that I haven’t blogged and I’m delighted to share this super fun and emotional Gorton Monastery wedding of Danny and Clare. What a lovely couple they are too. They made me feel like I was part of their day right from the word go.
I love it when couples choose to do the things that they really want and that they have so much fun with the planning process as it definitely shines through on the wedding day. This was definitely the case for these guys. The love and the laughter was oozing out of them. My stomach hurt with laughing so hard too!
Danny, Clare and their wonderful families had the best day at Manchester’s magnificent monastery and stunning Manchester wedding venue. If you haven’t been to Gorton Monastery you really should go and have a nosey. Did you know that it sits alongside the Taj Mahal and the ancient ruins of Pompeii as being listed in the 100 most endangered sites in the world, with a rich heritage that should never be lost?! I love working here. You have so many options with the spaces that are available to you. It also doesn’t matter if that good old Manchester rain makes an appearance too (like it did on this day) as there are plenty of indoor options for photography. But when there’s a break in the weather it’s also great have a little wander around the building too.
Claire and Danny enlisted the wonderful floral skills of the Flower Lounge who did an incredible job of decking out the main room. Simply stunning work as always.
The party went on to the early hours with the help of this great band… Fraudio. The moves were amazing!
Come and check out all the laughter.
If you’re having a Gorton Monastery wedding and you’re still looking for a photographer then I’d love to hear from you. You can view more of my wedding work here. x
