Parsonage Didsbury Wedding

I’m excited to share a few previews from this beautiful Parsonage Didsbury wedding of the lovely Sam and Ian which I had the pleasure of photographing a couple of weeks ago (where have those weeks gone?!).

As much as I love travelling with this job and I’ve been to lots of wonderful places it was great to be just up the road from where I live and capture the celebrations that Sam and Ian had planned in their beloved Didsbury.

All of the details

The preps started off at the lovely Eleven Didsbury Park where Monton hair and beauty and Terri Louise Maher worked their magic on the girls.

Sam wore a beautiful bespoke Emma Beaumont wedding dress which oozed elegance and she looked incredible in it. She teamed the dress with a pair of Jimmy Choo’s too. The beautiful flowers were by the talented Fletcher and Foley.

Didsbury Parsonage

The beautiful Didsbury Parsonage is the perfect venue for intimate celebrations.

The Parsonage building is steeped in history and is the epitome of a romantic venue. Their award-winning gardens provide a stunning backdrop, but if the weather lets you down, the antique oak interiors and original stained glass certainly won’t.

Sam and Ian arranged for Sophie Rocks the harpist to play during the ceremony and the reception drinks. She was totally fabulous so big shout out to her.

Food, glorious food!

I loved that Sam and Ian and their 22 guests headed over to the wonderful Hispi in Didsbury village for hours of fine dining, speeches and fun. The food here is delicious and so I can see why they chose this place. If you haven’t been make sure you go and check it out.

After a quick refresh back at Didsbury House Hotel they carried on the night into the early hours down the road where we were greeted with some glorious evening light.

Massive congratulations Sam and Ian, it was a pleasure to be part of your day. Thanks for having me along! Enjoy these previews. x
